Returning to the place of origin for both the film’s production and the film’s writer/director/actor Michael Worth, proved to be a fruitful homecoming for “God’s Ears”. Screened in Japantown’s Vizio Theater the film would later that night take home top honors from the 2010 New Media Film Festival with the Grand Jury Prize and Best Feature Film categories. On hand were co-stars of the film John Saxon and Lois Stewart to accept the awards and engage the audience in a question and answer session on both the film’s history and their takes on autism.
This is the second Grand Jury Prize for “God’s Ears” in 2 months. The film previously won in Hollywood California, at The Feel Good Film Festival.
